Kevin Toomey

President and Chief Executive Officer
Kayser-Roth Corporation

Kevin Toomey was named President and CEO of Kayser-Roth Corporation in 1998 after 24 years with the company. He joined Gulf + Western Industries, then parent company to Kayser-Roth, in 1974, and transferred to Kayser-Roth in 1978.

Since 1978, Toomey has held several management positions at Kayser-Roth, including Controller for No Nonsense Fashions, Inc.; Vice President of Strategic Planning and Acquisitions; Vice President Sales for the Sock Group, and Vice President and General Manager of Sales for the Department & Specialty Store Group.

Just prior to his being named President and CEO, Toomey was Vice President Sales and Marketing for the Food/Drug/Mass side of the business at Kayser-Roth.

Toomey holds a bachelor's degree in business administration from St. Bonaventure in New York and an M.B.A. from Syracuse University.

Julia Townsend

Executive Vice President and General Manager
Kayser-Roth Corporation

Julia Townsend was named Executive Vice President and General Manager of Kayser-Roth Corporation in November 2003. Townsend is currently responsible for repositioning the No nonsense brand and expanding the brand to new product categories, as well as continuing to expand the HUE brand.

During her tenure as Vice President, General Manager of Department Store Women's brands at Kayser-Roth, Townsend was successful in expanding the HUE brand from socks and tights to several new product lines, including sheer hosiery, men's socks, sleepwear and panties.

Townsend joined Kayser-Roth in April 1996 as Director of Marketing for the Calvin Klein hosiery brand.

Townsend has a bachelor's degree in political science from Hollins College in Hollins, VA, and a master of international business management degree from American Graduate School of International Management in Phoenix, AZ.
